The Journey of Biting Edge

We were so busy finally launching that we just didn't make it to create a full-color, elaborate, multiple-images-with-corresponding-text-and-graphics About us page. But, in order to assure you we are not a Cayman Islands offshore company, here's a brief version.

We've poured our souls into this.

This is a result of a 4.5 years full time work. How have we been sustaining ourselves, we all wonder? We've been living off of freelancing and bits of savings, but basically surviving. (I guess that makes us eligible for "made-in-my-garage" elite club.)

It's been a roller-coaster to say the least. It's been the biggest, most intense and most beautiful project in our lives. (Delivering a baby I suppose doesn't count as a project.)

The cancelled collaborations, the losing of our first supposed-to-be (but not meant-to-be) manufacturer, the problems with seals, oh, the seals. Finding the perfect oil finishes, changing the design because no-can-do from manufacturers; finding new solutions, searching for finest stainless steel craftsman for 2 years, actually learning the nitty gritty of it to get what we need, and oh, oh the ceramics. Seals, stainless steel, ceramics, headaches. Joys, headaches, excitement, sorrow, happiness, gonna-kill-myself, happiness. Kind of the description of every business, and life in general.

On that note, let's end this text and go give our dogs a hug (well if they like it). Because they make all the moments, pleasant or unpleasant—the best moments.
